Recovery is constant. Recovery is choosing to wake up and brush your teeth. And you guys are doing that. You don’t give yourself enough credit. Being a teenager/young adult is extremely challenging and you’re all facing different challenges and stressors. Cry and scream and feel bad for yourself all you want. But just don’t let yourself give up. Because I swear I never thought I’d be where I am today. And I am here. And I am so thankful that I gave myself the chance and trusted the process.

You know how people say keep your black cats inside around halloween? Cat was in the window watching things like normal, we hear a crash, realize someone fucking shot a marble through the glass. They were a bad shot so the little dude is fine, but bailed too fast for us to even get a glimpse. Don’t know if they slingshot it and ran or shot from a car, but they were GONE within 20 seconds of impact.

All of a sudden I’m glad we live in a third-floor apartment. And yes, signal boosting.

I have a friend who works as a vet tech. You don’t want to know the real stories she has about black cats around Halloween. She told me to keep our black cats inside a full week before Halloween. 

Trust me.
